Many families with children who need special services but earn too much money to be eligible for state and federal Medicaid programs are what we refer to as “tweeners”. As a result, they have commercial insurance, but not enough to cover “extras” beyond clothing, food, and shelter. This leaves many families and children unable to afford the expense of therapy for their children. By covering the costs of occupational, speech, feeding, physical, and behavior therapies, T4K Cares assists these “tweener” families in providing their kids with the care they require.
The goal of this organization is to raise funds to pay for therapy services for families struggling to pay for treatment or may have many therapies due to a new diagnosis. Bob and Lisa Herrmann founded this organization, they have been passionate about helping children with developmental delays get the support they need to thrive. After seeing so many families struggle to make ends meet, Bob and Lisa started this organization to help them with financial assistance so these kids don’t fall further behind.
T4K Cares is a registered nonprofit organization.
100% of financial donations go directly toward helping children receive the therapy they need. All administrative and operational work is provided by volunteers, maximizing the impact of every donation.
